1. Purpose
These terms of use govern access to and use of the IWELAH service (the "Service"), available at www.iwelah.com and as an installable web app. The publisher is identified in the Legal notice. Using the Service means accepting these terms.
2. The Service
IWELAH offers 36 document tools: 31 local tools that run entirely in your browser (your files never leave your device) and 5 AI tools (summary, translation, handwriting OCR, invoice extraction, book processing) that send the necessary content to our servers and then to our AI providers (MiniMax, OpenAI). A Q&A blog is fed with content written with the help of AI.
3. Free access, account and quotas
Local tools are free, unlimited and usable without an account. AI tools require a free account (email sign-up or Google sign-in) with a confirmed email address; they include a number of free documents per day shown on the Pricing page and set by the publisher. Beyond that, users may use AI credits or a Premium plan. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential.
4. Paid plans, licences and credits
Premium plans and AI credits are paid through PayPal. Each purchase is linked to the email address of the IWELAH account signed in at purchase time: a licence is only issued for a valid, confirmed email address and only benefits the account using that address. Licence keys are sent only by email to that address; if lost, they can be re-sent to the same address from the account or the "Recover my licence" page. One AI credit equals one document processed by an AI tool; credits are used once the daily free quota is exhausted. Donations grant no credits or subscriptions.
5. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service only for documents you own or are authorised to process, and not for unlawful content, removing document protections without rights, creating multiple accounts to bypass quotas, or disrupting the Service. The publisher may suspend an account in case of breach.
6. AI-generated content
Outputs of the AI tools and blog answers are generated automatically and may contain errors. They are not legal, medical, tax or professional advice. Check results before any important use and avoid submitting confidential documents to AI tools.
7. Intellectual property
You keep all rights to your documents and results. The Service, its brand, code and editorial content remain the publisher's property.
8. Availability and liability
The Service is provided as is, on a best-effort basis. Always keep a copy of your original files. To the extent permitted by law, the publisher's liability is limited to the amount paid by the user over the last twelve months.
9. Personal data
Processing of your data is described in the Privacy policy.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and request deletion of your account at contact@iwelah.com.
11. Changes and governing law
The publisher may update these terms; the applicable version is the one published on this page. They are governed by the law of the publisher's country stated in the Legal notice, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence. Contact: contact@iwelah.com.
