1. Controller
The controller is the publisher identified in the Legal notice. Contact: contact@iwelah.com.
2. Local tools: no file upload
The 31 local tools run in your browser. Your files are neither sent to nor stored on our servers.
3. Data collected
Account: email, name (optional), hashed password, sign-up and last login dates. Google sign-in: Google ID, email, name and profile picture shared by Google with your consent. Purchases: account email, product, amount, PayPal transaction ID, licence key. Usage: number of AI documents per day, technical and security logs (IP address stored hashed). Blog questions: the question text. We never receive your card details: payments are handled by PayPal.
4. AI tools: data sent
When you use an AI tool, the necessary content (extracted text or page images) is sent to our servers and then to our AI provider (MiniMax, and OpenAI as a fallback or for vision tools) solely to produce the result. We do not keep your documents after processing. Do not send confidential documents to AI tools.
5. Purposes and legal bases
Providing the Service and managing your account (contract); confirming your email, sending licences and security emails (contract); fraud and quota-abuse prevention, security (legitimate interest); purchase accounting (legal obligation); publishing blog answers from questions, rephrased without personal data (legitimate interest).
6. Recipients
Hosting provider (Hostinger), AI providers (MiniMax, OpenAI), Google (sign-in, if chosen), PayPal (payments), email delivery provider. No data is sold.
7. Retention
Account: while active, then deleted on request or after 3 years of inactivity. Purchases and licences: legal accounting period. AI usage counters: 12 months. Technical logs: 12 months maximum. Confirmation and password links: a few hours to 72 hours.
8. Cookies
The site uses one strictly necessary session cookie (account sign-in) and browser local storage for preferences (language, currency) and offline use. No advertising cookie is set without your consent.
9. Your rights
You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, and may withdraw consent. Write to contact@iwelah.com from your account email. You may also complain to your data protection authority.
10. Security
Hashed passwords, HTTPS, single-use email tokens, licence keys sent only to the account address, protected admin access.
11. Changes
This policy may change; the update date is shown at the top of the page.
